~Tucker ‘Shomrei Adamah’ Memorial is a project of Save The Earth Ecocenter, VeganMan Enterprises and EarthSaveMiami.Org.

Re-dedication Ceremony planned for end-of-year, 2021  The Tucker Memorial (“The Memorial”) will be re-dedicated to Shomrei Adamah, EarthSaviors of VeganVille and Guardianes De Pachamama under the NALITH Philanthropy Code (Nature-Life-Truth-Health) in honor of the Tucker Family Founders, great-uncle Jacob ‘Jack’ Tucker (1899-1985), father Harold Tucker (1925-1985) and my colleague Dr. George Eisman (1950-2017,) by Jeffrey ‘VeganMan’ Tucker.  The paired, symbolic structures were consecrated in 1998 by Rabbi Rami Shapiro on the site of Temple Beth Or’s Shomrei Adamah organic garden.  The Memorial was designed and constructed by Jeffrey ‘VeganMan’ Tucker with assistance from Beth Or congregants, and funded via grant from Nalith, Inc.  It’s unique architectural elements were generously licensed by noted Holocaust architect Ken Treister.  The Memorial serves as a sacred space (chuppah, sukkah, lounge, meditation seat) for the congregation and community and a VeganVille Mounument.  Jewish-Vegan programming by ‘Reb VeganMan.’

Design Elements:
Noah’s Ark Gazebo shaped as an ark serves as a sukkah, a chupa, meditation site, and a shaded reading lounge.
Structural Wood Members sustainably-harvested Amazon rainforest timbers; hand-turned and assembled by Singh, an  indigenous Guyanese carpenter
Magen David Bench configured as a Star of David; seen from the air it purports to be the largest Magen David structure in the SE United States; it encloses a drum circle site and central firepit.
Memorial Stone Plaque enshrines the memory of great-uncle Jacob who converted from carnist to vegan in midlife and developed the NALITH Code with Harold and Jeffrey circa 1964-1985.

Tucker Memorial has anchored raised bed organic gardens designed by Master Gardeners Guilio DiBenedetto and Joyce DiBenedetto-Colton plus composting enclosure and half-shed.  These were in disrepair and removed in 2018. Plantings by Organic Farmer Laura Sutton.  Neo-Kosher and Essene Judaic programs by Jeffrey ‘Reb VeganMan’ Tucker with EarthSave and Save The Earth Ecocenter.  Thanks to Groundskeepers Marcy Prince, Nall Moonilall and Noli Matzulis, ceremonial support from Jeff Kaminsky and inspried landscaping by Rabbi Robyn Fisher.

Tucker Memorial Education connects Judaism and Veganism.  Tucker Memorial stands for Vegan Compassion-Sustainability-Health per the teachings of Torah, Talmud and Halachic Law.  Under the auspices of Nalith, Inc.  Jeffrey studied and taught the modern Jewish Eco-Kashruth, influenced by vegetarian Rabbi Rami Shapiro and vegan Professor Emeritus Richard Schwartz (A Sacred Duty, Judaism and Vegetarianism, Who Stole My Religion, A Sacred Duty- Documentary, Judaism and Global Survival, etc.)  Also, local vegan Rabbi’s Barry Silver (L’Dor Va Dor) and Loring Frank (All Peoples Synagogue) supported our 7E Programming: Ethical-Eat-Educate-Entertain-Experience-Empower-Evolve.
